is the Founder and Senior Pastor of A Safe Place Church. He was born in Houston, Texas to Samuel Phill & Mary Briggs. His leadership is not limited to just A Safe Place Church. He also is the Founder and Executive Director of A Caring Safe Place, Inc. which is a transitional living facility for men. His passion, love and commitment to people have impacted many within the church and Houston's 5th Ward Community. He received his Bachelor of Science in Christian Leadership from the College of Biblical Studies, as well as his Associate Degree in Addictions Studies at University of Houston.

was born in Houston, Texas and is the youngest child born to Elvin and Lucille Skinner. She has a huge heart and great passion for children. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Christian Counseling from College of Biblical Studies-Houston and her Master of Arts in Professional Counseling from Liberty University. She works alongside Pastor Stan at A Caring Safe Place as the Client Services Specialist for the past seventeen years.

Pastor Stan and Stephanie have been married for more than 20 years and are the proud parents to four daughters.
